Billions – Season 5 (Part 2) – September 7th
The second part of the fifth season of Billions restarts. It’s been a year, Chuck found the kidney for his father, he half-framed Ax preparing to start his own bank and Wendy is still in partnership with Taylor. If you don’t know them, they are perfect characters in one of the most inspired series on fierce finance ever. If you like money, throw away the remote and start from the beginning. (Sky Atlantic)
Star Wars: Visions – Season 1 – September 22
Nine Star Wars themed animation shorts for seven Japanese studios including Poduction Ig, that of Ghost in the Shell. Yet another spin-off of the Star Wars franchise. We have to get used to it, as the pig does not throw away anything and everything is recycled. In this case, however, the operation is really interesting because the “anime” interpretation really promises to finally give a different perspective to lightsabers. May the Force be with us. Lucifer – Season 6 – September 10
Lucifer has become the new God. For Lucifer’s grand finale, the authors no longer knew what to invent. But the series is beautifully designed and has a super-passionate fan community. Having said that Tom Ellis with angel wings just can’t be seen. Before drawing a line and writing a judgment, let’s wait for the final act. (Netflix)
