New Gym and Theme Park Opening in Trento
Trento is set to welcome two exciting new additions to the city’s landscape. The Poli Group has announced the opening of a state-of-the-art artistic gymnastics gym and a spacious themed park on Saturday, February 17th. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 2pm at via del Brennero 270.
The new gym is the first of its kind in Trento, dedicated exclusively to artistic gymnastics. Spanning over 1,200 square meters, the modern facility is equipped with top-of-the-line sports equipment. What sets this gym apart is the incorporation of a specially designed “hole” in the floor, filled with anti-trauma material, to ensure the safety of athletes during training.
Following the gym opening, a sprawling green space of over 2,800 square meters will also be unveiled. The park features play areas and an educational orchard, where children can engage in guided learning activities. The layout of the park is themed around promoting healthy and active lifestyles, with inclusive islands for the development of motor skills, in line with urban planning agreements.
In addition, the park will include facilities for covered parking for bicycles, including electric and cargo bikes, as well as new cycle paths, pedestrian walkways, porticoes, and a tree-lined avenue.
The opening of the gym and park is a significant step forward for Trento, offering residents and visitors new opportunities for recreation, fitness, and education.
