This is a novelty in Ascoli even if in the rest of the world it is a consolidated reality and in the big Italian cities the idea of a gym open for the whole day is already present by some. years. THE sport centers open non-stop, both day and night, they are the answer to the needs of all those people who, for various reasons, are unable to train during the traditional opening hours.
There are those who love to train before entering the office, those who prefer to do it at the end of a long day to release tension and those who instead try to take advantage of the holidays. Gyms were among the activities most penalized by the closures to deal with the covid 19 pandemic which began in October 2020 and ended last April, when the activities resumed, although they were subject to some restrictions. Today the entrances to the structures are allowed only to those who are in possession of the green pass. «We wanted to implement this novelty to give a further opportunity to more people to train, primarily because the normal routine leaves less and less space for physical activity. The pace of life has changed and services should too. Meanwhile, we started with this novelty in Ascoli – says the owner of Malibù Massimo Aniballi. – In addition, given the Covid speech, this 24-hour opening allows me to dilute people during the day and leave more space for everyone, perhaps at night so as not to create crowds “.
Aniballi explains how the entrances take place: «The reception will work as always from 8 to 22: then you will enter with a badge that will open both the gate and the internal door. There are sensors and cameras and you train yourself. There will be a person inside for a safety matter who will monitor the situation and check it out, but still you train yourself. There is also a question of home automation, since I will be able to control the cameras remotely. In the post-pandemic he resumed work after starting school, but absurdly we worked more in August than in September. However, we have recovered even if we do not have the same numbers as in previous years, this is unthinkable. Old customers still struggle to return for fear, even if you can only enter here with the green pass. The courses are restarting slowly because many think that there may be gatherings but inside the rooms there are pre-established and spaced places, so more than many people cannot enter at the same time. At the bar and restaurant there are more consistent gatherings but then you are afraid to come to the gym, which instead can be a deterrent to fight the disease ».
