The story of the rocket lost in space in 1966. And one day it came back

The episode dates back to a year ago, September 2020, but the story of how astronomers intercepted (and verified) the nature of a mysterious object approaching Earth is timeless. Astronomers were observing asteroids heading towards Earth with the NASA Pan-STARRS1 telescope on the island of Maui when they noticed an object with some unusual characteristics. . That mysterious object turned out to be a Centaur rocket that took off on September 20, 1966 from Cape Canaveral.
