This is the deodorant test winner
In addition to shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste and similar products, most people also use deodorant every day. But does it actually work against odors and underarm sweat?
The experts at Stiftung Warentest tested 19 deodorant sprays, including well-known brands such as Nivea or Rexona, natural cosmetics and own brands from discounters such as Aldi or Lidl. The Sebamed Fresh Deodorant (available at dm) took first place with a rating of “good” (2.5).
The test category “Protection against armpit sweat” accounted for 60 percent of the overall rating – and performed significantly better than the competitors. Another advantage: You don’t have to dig particularly deep into your pockets to get the test winner. The Sebamed product is not one of the cheap own brands, but at a price of 3.25 euros for 150 ml it is not too expensive.
The verdict of Stiftung Warentest on the Sebamed Fresh Deodorant:
Protection against armpit odor: good (2.5) Application: satisfactory (2.7) Usability of the packaging: good (2.3) Declaration and advertising statements: good (2.4)
