How should I start?
If you have an active lifestyle, are young, healthy and maybe you already practice some sports, you can start the training program that you find at the end of this article right away.
If, on the other hand, you have just left the sofa, until yesterday you were sedentary, you are no longer a kid, or you have a few extra pounds, before starting to run it is good that you break the ice with regular walks. When walking regularly several times a week has become a habit, then you will be ready for the run!
Begin to incorporate short running fractions of 1 or 2 minutes into your walks. At each outing, increase the number of running segments or their duration until in the space of one or two months you will be able to run 30 minutes non-stop.
A safe and proven way to achieve this is to follow RW’s training schedule for beginners. Trust us, there are many of our readers who have turned into runners thanks to it.
If you have any physical problems or a significant overweight, always consult with your doctor before starting.
