Under the EU4Health Programme, the Executive Agency for Health and Digital (Health and Digital Executive Agency – HADEA) of the European Commission has published the following three calls for tenders:

Organisation and implementation of online training activities on the legal framework, deployment, functioning and future development of MyHealth@EU (eHDSI)

Speed-up the development, availability and access to anti-tuberculosis medicines for children

Programme of continuous learning within a European Health Union Professional Network.

Organisation and implementation of online training activities on the legal framework, deployment, functioning and future development of MyHealth@EU (eHDSI)

The tender call HADEA/2024/OP/0003 aims to organize and implement training courses under the MyHealth@EU initiative (eHealth Digital Service Infrastructure – eHDSI) in particular relating to the legal framework, implementation, operation and future development of the MyHealth@EU infrastructure.

The main objectives are to develop:

The training material to carry out online training sessions in real time; An online course for individual learning based on the learning material used for real-time online training sessions; eLearning materials on the legal framework, implementation, operation and future development of MyHealth@EU.

The training program and eLearning materials should aim to improve knowledge transfer and raise awareness of MyHealth@EU, as well as promote a harmonized approach to the implementation and operation of the National Contact Points for eHealth (NCPeH) .

The total estimated value of the contract is equal to 500,000 euros.

The deadline for submitting applications is set at 9 April 2024ore 16:00 (CEST).

Speed-up the development, availability and access to anti-tuberculosis medicines for children

The object of the HADEA/2023/OP/0052 tender is the stipulation of a contract for the purchase of services aimed at accelerating the development, availability and access in the EU to anti-tuberculosis drugs for children.

The unavailability of drugs suitable for the treatment of pediatric tuberculosis requires effective medical countermeasures. Current therapeutic options, in fact, are not optimal, due to a reduced response, unknown effects on treatment outcomes and unpredictable toxicity; furthermore, as they are not optimal, they can contribute to increasing the risk of the onset of antimicrobial resistance.

To achieve the objectives of the tender, the selected contractor will have to provide a series of services (both clinical and other) suitable to finalize the development and allow the submission of marketing authorization in the EU for the products covered by the services themselves.

The estimated total value of the contract is equal to 5,000,000 euros.

The deadline for submitting applications is set at April 11th 2024ore 15:00 (CEST).

Programme of continuous learning within a European Health Union Professional Network

The call for tenders HADEA/2024/OP/0002 for a Continuous Learning Program within an “European Union Health Professionals Network” aims to provide a unique scholarship programme, focused on enhancing professional skills on European health policies.

The program will cover both the theoretical aspects of EU-level policy instruments and their practical applications, providing participants with the skills to effectively integrate these instruments into national health policies. The training will highlight the importance of cross-border cooperation, sharing best practices between European Union (EU) Member States.

The aim of the call is to create, thanks to continuous training, a European network of EU health policy experts, who actively engage in EU policies and programmes, effectively using the Union’s health instruments.

The estimated total value of the contract is equal to 5,000,000 euros.

The deadline for submitting applications is set at April 15th 2024ore 16:00 (CEST).
