PAVIA. Cristina Tassorelli, Professor of Neurology at the University of Pavia, is the new president of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery: she will succeed Marco Benazzo on 1 October, she is the first woman to hold this position in the history of the Pavia university.
Tassorelli already directs the Specialty School of Neurology and the Headache Science Center of the Mondino Foundation. One of the leading experts in headache, she has worked both in the field of neuroscience and as a clinical neurologist, studying and promoting the subject through various approaches.
