Founded in 2019 and participated by Digital Magics, Bike-room.com operates in the sector of second hand differentiating itself from other generalist online operators, offering a service aimed at enhancing second-hand high-end bicycles, purchased from affiliated manufacturers and professional teams that at the end of the season make available the bikes that the pros have used for training and competitions.
A mode that allows Bike Room to directly address super-enthusiast two-wheelers with good spending power, as well as collectors looking for unique pieces, but also experts and professionals in the sector such as team managers and athletes.
The startup’s mission is to preserve the strong emotional value of each bicycle, exploiting the principle of the circular economy and satisfying the manufacturers’ need to welcome new customers into their ecosystem that were previously difficult to reach through their distribution network. Furthermore, one of the strategic objectives is to systematize a traditional market that is still unregulated.
A successful business model rewarded by the recent capital increase of 500 thousand euros, underwritten by Az Eltif – ALIcrowd, venture capital Eltif set up by Azimut Investments Sa and managed in delegation by Azimut Libera Impresa Sgr, together with some business angels, as well as first Venture capital Eltif that also uses crowdfunding to research companies that are the object of investment.
