The Juventus visits the Roma In the 35th round of the Serie A championship. The Bianconeri have always drawn in the last three matchdays (against Torino, Cagliari and Milan), they are third in classification with 65 points and have the second best defense of the tournament with 26 goals against. The formation of Massimiliano Allegri look for the three points at the Olympic stadium to secure the pass for the next edition of Champions League. The Giallorossi, fifth at 59, are also in the running for qualification for the top European club competition. The team of From Rossi is fresh from the home defeat against Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final. “In the first round we scored 46 points, in the second round unfortunately we weren’t able to do what was done in the first round. We did much worse but at the same time we are close to the main objective of returning to the Champions League next year. We need to be focused on this, until mathematics gives us this certainty we need to be careful, football can always give us surprises” said the Juventus coach Allegri in the press conference the day before.

31′ – JUVE DRAWS – Great work by Chiesa wide to the right and a kissing cross for Bremer, who towers over the direct scorers and heads the goal to make it 1-1.
30′ – Roma dangerous on the counterattack: Pellegrini earns a corner in the 27th minute – contested by Juve – after a nice right-footed shot from the edge. Same epilogue for Chiesa on the opposite side of the pitch, blocked in his attempt near the small area.
25′ – Juve raised their center of gravity and increased the pressure close to the Giallorossi area, without however producing noteworthy opportunities.
20′ – Juve trying to react: nice insertion by Rabiot who, however, puts in an easy ball for Svilar. Reversal in front and Lukaku still stands out in the area, without managing to worry Szczesny.
15′ – ROMA IN ADVANTAGE: Lukaku, who hadn’t found the target in the 13th minute, headed home with an easy tap-in after good work from Baldanzi and Dybala, Szczesny’s response to Cristante’s shot and Gatti’s short clearance. The excessively passive attitude of the Juventus defense is absolutely revisable.
10′ – Roma hits the crossbar with a header from Kristensen. In the 6th minute Juve were one step away from taking the lead: an error by Dybala, so Chiesa handed the ball over to Vlahovic who, with his left foot, just missed the target.
5′ – Still 0-0 at the Olimpico. A little while ago Federico Chiesa tried with a right-footed shot from outside the area: the ball went just wide. Weah was booked for trying to anticipate Svilar after less than perfect control, but without finding the ball.
