For Microsoft, they are heavily revamping Windows 11, some UI interface will be reset, and it will also bring a new start menu and so on.
In the latest release of Windows 11 Build 22543, Microsoft has quietly made a big change to the Task Manager. This change is only open to Microsoft internal developers, but we can also try this new task manager by modifying system files.
The new version of the task manager is more in line with Windows 11 in style, using Fluent Design, WinUI and Mica elements for design. Microsoft has also tweaked the basic interface of Task Manager, moving options like Processes to a new menu. These options were previously available at the top of the Task Manager.
In the new design, you’ll find these options in a menu on the left, similar to Settings and other modern Windows 11 apps.
Based on screenshots of the new Task Manager, we also see a section called “App health” that will help users know when their app needs to be fixed (if it’s not responding). Likewise, there will be a new “Startup apps” section to help users identify apps that are slowing down the device during startup.
