Work will begin on January 16 on two of the future Aosta Valley community houses which will be set up in the clinics of Donnas and Châtillon. This was communicated by the Valle d’Aosta Local Health Authority, specifying that “the community houses represent an important intervention for the reorganization and strengthening of territorial assistance within the Pnrr projects” and “the works will lead to a structural improvement and technological which will translate into greater assistance, services and comfort for citizens”.
In Donnas “the capacity of the Dialysis Center will be increased from 7 to 9 beds (two also suitable for isolation in case of infectious diseases), allowing greater flexibility in patient care and a more comfortable experience” explains Massimo Manes, Director of the Complex Nephrology Structure of the “Parini” Hospital in Aosta. The movement of dialysis patients will be guaranteed through the collaboration of 118 and volunteers.
In Châtillon the physiotherapy rehabilitation service will be temporarily located in the premises of the Antey Clinic (for the most fragile users or those unable to move around, a suitable space for treatments has been identified in the outpatient clinic).
