World hand hygiene day: a fundamental gesture that saves lives

Health is in our hands. Literally. After more than two years of a pandemic, even children now know it. Hands should be washed regularly, for about 60 seconds with hot water and soap, or 20-30 seconds with a hydroalcoholic solution, rubbing the palm, back and fingers well, one by one.

A banal gesture that, however, saves many lives and avoids serious infections, including that from Sars-Cov-2, especially within the walls of hospitals where one goes to receive treatment and where instead it can happen that you contract serious infections
