The G7 Group of Seven Leaders Summit issued a joint communiqué on June 13, which mentioned for the first time the importance of peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait and opposed unilateral changes to the status quo in the South China Sea and the East China Sea.

On the 14th, the NATO summit considered the CCP as a “systemic challenge” in the communiqué for the first time. NATO, with 30 member states, is the most powerful political and military alliance in the world.
