According to the official news from Shanghai Jiading, nearly 4,000 employees of SAIC Volkswagen have returned to the factory for closed production. The Economic and Trade Office of Anting Town, Jiading District, Shanghai has set up a special class to serve SAIC Volkswagen to assist companies in implementing epidemic prevention measures as required. At present, Anting Town is stepping up the implementation of a series of supporting measures for 45 parts and components companies in the core automotive industry chain, such as epidemic prevention guidance, personnel returning to factories and returning to work, and material supply channels. Jiading District is also further formulating work plans and detailed guidelines to allow closed production enterprises to continue production, and to speed up the resumption of work and production of non-production enterprises, and to delineate a list of the second batch of key enterprises.
