According to statistics from the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China, from October 1st to 3rd, 38, 39 and 16 aircraft invaded Taiwan’s Southwest Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). On the 4th, another 56 co-planes invaded ADIZ in southwest Taiwan, setting a record.

In response to the Chinese Communist Party’s deployment of fighter jets to disrupt Taiwan, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said on Monday that China (the Chinese Communist Party) should stop “provocative military activities near Taiwan”.

She said that this would “destabilize, risk misjudgment, and undermine regional peace and stability.”

Psaki also said that the United States’ commitment to Taiwan is “solid as a rock” and that “we will continue to assist Taiwan in maintaining sufficient self-defense capabilities.”

Wu Zhaoxie: Taiwan is preparing for a potential war

The ABC’s “China Tonight” program also aired an interview with Wu Zhaoxie on Monday. The US State Department stated on Sunday (3rd) that the US is deeply concerned about China’s (CCP) provocative military activities near Taiwan and urged Beijing to stop its military, diplomatic, and economic pressure and coercive actions against Taiwan.

At the same time, the State Council reiterated that the United States will maintain its commitment to Taiwan in accordance with the three US-China Joint Communiqués, the Taiwan Relations Act, and the six guarantees, and support Taiwan to strengthen its self-defense capabilities.

On Monday, the spokesperson of the Chinese Communist Party’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hua Chunying, pointed out that the U.S. remarks violated principles and demanded that the U.S. “correct its mistakes.”
