This Monday afternoon, the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies (Ideam) published the forecast of the threat of vegetation cover fire throughout the country, and the department of Cesar appears with a warning in 6 northern municipalities.
Two territories are on red alert: Valledupar (which recorded a maximum temperature of 37°) and San Diego, while Pueblo Bello, La Paz and Manaure have orange alert. In the case of Agustín Codazzi there is a yellow alert, that is, although there is a risk of conflagration, it is lower than in other parts of the department.
AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL
In general, there are red alerts in 19 of the country’s 32 departments. For its part, meteomarine conditions are normal, according to the Institute.
