A police officer working in the judicial police of the Regional Directorate of National Security in Larache received a threatening message by targeting his utility vehicle, which was exposed to scorching water that distorted its features and caused serious material damage.

Local public opinion considered that this attack on the car was a clear threatening message to the security official, and an attack on him or his family, especially since the car was in his private ownership with his wife and children carrying it. It was an encrypted message addressed to them personally, which required the intervention of the National Judicial Police Division in order to Open an in-depth investigation and catch the perpetrator.

According to data obtained by Al-Alam from knowledgeable sources in the city of Larache, the perpetrator did a professional job to send this message to the officer, especially since he did not leave any material traces and bypassed the surveillance cameras that were present in the areas covered by the car.

The same sources confirmed that the officer, who is known for his integrity, was likely subjected to a retaliatory threat, as they revealed that he had previously dealt with the case of a young man, “Ould El-Fashous,” during his shift, following a complaint submitted by his mother, including a medical certificate, regarding infringement of due process, for which he was placed under arrest. The provision of theoretical custody is subject to investigation, with instructions from the competent Public Prosecution, before the court of first instance releases him, after the complainant (his mother) waives the lawsuit, after which he is surprised that his car was exposed to material damage due to the use of scorching water.
