Now the Annamaria knitting mill by Gianni Martinello, Treviso entrepreneur from Ca ‘Rainati in San Zenone degli Ezzelini, doubles. Always in the city.

It is the tenth shop opened by the Treviso-Vicenza knitwear factory between Northeast and Lombardy, with particular attention to the mountain areas. And, a precise company choice, the market presence is not renounced. “In addition to being our means to root ourselves, it is always the best school for staff, the girls who work in the shops have all passed through the markets”, explains Martinello, “We believe in it, we make it an obligatory path of growth, it is the best school and you learn the service. But also from a technical point of view, I say this as a model maker, you learn a lot of things in the daily confrontation with customers ».
Martinello, who gave the company his wife’s name, left quietly from his village. In 1989 it gradually expanded to open the new headquarters, with outlets in Mussolente. Before Covid, the turnover exceeded 5 million.
“It is our dimension we remain a family business, my daughter has been helping us for some time, we are pleased to have feedback also in the mountain areas, followed in particular by my wife”. Secrets? «The work. But then we manage to reconcile quality and price thanks to our consolidated relationships with Biella and Tuscan yarn producers ».
The chain of shops aligns Andalo, Pinzolo, Fiera di Primiero, Folgaria, Pozza di Fassa and Madonna di Campiglio in Trentino, Verona, Salò (Brescia), the outlet of Mussolente, and now Treviso, in one of the shopping streets.
