AOSTA. A USL executive is being investigated by the Aosta prosecutor as part of the investigation into the cunning of anti Covid vaccines. This is Laura Plati, manager of the health professions of the structure called “Sitra”, Nursing, rehabilitation, prevention and corporate obstetrics service.
According to Ansa, the crime hypotheses formulated by the Aosta prosecutor’s office are abuse of office and embezzlement and refer to the possible administration of vaccines to people who did not have the right and, consequently, to the subtraction of doses intended for subjects with vaccination priority.
The investigations concern compliance with national guidelines in organizing the vaccination campaign. The prosecutor intends to clarify whether, in the early stages of the campaign, someone skipped the line and obtained the vaccine at the expense of the elderly and people with frailty. The investigations concern the list of 1,500 people who in a few days gave the USL the availability of “last minute” vaccination in the event of waivers.
In a note, commenting on the news of the notice of guarantee received by the manager Plati, the director of the Aosta Valley local health authority Pescarmona expresses “utmost appreciation for the activity that has been carried out so far by Dr. Laura Plati and which will be carried out with the same commitment , with dedication, effectiveness and efficiency, certain that the situations subject to verification and investigation will be fully clarified ».
