Sitting in a chair and with three stab wounds In his body, a 19-year-old young man was waiting for the arrival of the relief units that the ECU 911 had coordinated after a call for help.
This incident occurred on the afternoon of this Thursday April 11, 2024 on Quis Quis and Chimborazo streets.
The young man had wounds around his neck, waist and left arm from the alleged attack by two unknown individuals who had tried to steal a cell phone.
Situation
According to the victim’s version, minutes before the police units arrived at the scene, two individuals had tried to steal his cell phone to his 16-year-old sister.
Reason why, when trying to prevent the incident, they attacked the young man with a knife on repeated occasions.
After the crime, both men fled the scene in an unknown direction.
In the first instance, the young man was treated by paramedics, however, he was transferred to a health house to perform the relevant tests.
