The head of the internal secret services (Aise) of Padua, Massimo Stellato, is under investigation for revelation of office secrecy. It is learned from qualified sources. The officer, a colonel of the Gdf, would have revealed to Domenico Mantoan, a former Venetian health manager (and current director of Agenas) that he was intercepted in a secret investigation by the Padua prosecutor’s office. The meeting between the two took place in 2020 in the province of Vicenza, therefore the file was transferred from Padua to the Berici Prosecutor’s Office.
Stellato, a few days after meeting Mantoan, had undergone a search by the carabinieri of Padua, in order to ascertain who had been the “mole” who had informed him of the ongoing investigations. The prosecutor of Padua was investigating alleged offenses related to local health. The initial dossier that had initiated the wiretapping of Mantoan too, did not give notice of any crime, and was subsequently archived.
