An Italian display case for the quantum super computer: it is the same glass as the Mona Lisa

The quantum computer, which is today’s most frontier technology, is very different from hazelnut cream and a Leonardo painting. And yet to ensure the functioning of the most sophisticated quantum computer on the market, or “Q System One” by Ibm, is a special glass barrier made by the Italian Goppion, a company that began in the 1950s to produce jars for Supercrema gianduja (the ancestor of Nutella) and then specialized in high-level museum displays.
