Leshan Municipal Safety Committee Holds Meeting on Production Safety and Disaster Prevention

On April 29, the Leshan Municipal Safety Committee held a meeting via video and telephone conference to discuss the city’s second quarter production safety, disaster prevention, reduction, and relief work, as well as the “Three Guarantees” work for cultural tourism during the upcoming May Day holiday.

Secretary of the Leshan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Safety Committee Director Ma Bo delivered a speech at the meeting, emphasizing the importance of implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s expositions on production safety and disaster prevention. Ma Bo stressed the need to tighten responsibilities and build a strong defense to safeguard the safety of people’s lives and property.

Deputy Secretary of the Leshan Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Chen Guanghao presided over the meeting, with Deputy Secretary Chen Yangjie also in attendance. The meeting focused on studying Xi Jinping’s expositions on production safety and disaster prevention, as well as arranging key work for the future.

The meeting highlighted the importance of implementing the “six public security” and “five firsts” requirements, as well as tackling hidden dangers in various fields such as fire prevention and geological disasters.
