The legal drama “Anatomy of a Case” wins the award for best film, Sandra Hüller the award for best actress. Director Christopher Nolan accepted the honorary César.
Paris – The legal drama “Anatomy of a Case” has triumphed at the French César Film Awards. The film by French director Justine Triet went home with a total of six awards, including the one for best director.
German actress Sandra Hüller won the best actress award for her performance in the film about a German writer who is suspected of murdering her husband. Hüller said in Paris that she feels very honored, especially as a German.
The award-winning British-American director Christopher Nolan received the honorary César. Nolan attended the ceremony with his wife Emma Thomas.

The César, named after the sculptor César Baldaccini, is the French version of the Oscar film awards. It has been awarded since 1976. dpa
