Peshawar (Ummt News) Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir visited Miran Shah and Aspinwam areas of North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and spent Eid with the jawans and appreciated their services.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir visited Miran Shah and Aspinwam in North Waziristan district and celebrated Eid with the soldiers.

Starting with the Eid prayer, the Army Chief prayed for Pakistan’s lasting stability and prosperity and extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the soldiers, appreciating their unwavering dedication and service to the nation.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief was given a comprehensive briefing on operational preparations and current security situation and the briefing focused on security measures along the Pak-Afghan border.

Army Chief General Asim Munir said that they have rendered valuable services for the promotion of peace and stability, peace and stability are the fruit of the sacrifices of our martyrs, provide a favorable environment for socio-economic development.

The Army Chief said that terrorism has negative effects on the country’s development and stressed the collective need to protect the peace earned through sacrifices and hard work.

The Chief of Army Staff urged all stakeholders, especially the local population, to remain vigilant against hostile elements trying to destabilize the region.

He said to remain unwaveringly focused on his professional duties in the service of the nation. Earlier, on the arrival of Army Chief General Asim Munir, Corps Commander Peshawar warmly welcomed him.
