Assisted suicide: the Marche Region asks the Avvocatura for an opinion

The Councilor for Health of the Marches Filippo Saltamartini asked the Regional Attorney for an opinion after the initiative of Mario (invented name), the 43-year-old quadriplegic who warned the Asur (Single Regional Health Authority) for failure to verify the relative point the lethal drug to be used for medically assisted suicide. Mario had obtained a favorable opinion from the Marche Region Ethics Committee (Cerm), which however had expressed doubts about the drug. At the moment no reply to Mario’s initiative, assisted by the Coscioni Association.
