Dramatic moments just before noon. A forty-nine year old threw himself down from a balustrade on the first floor, among the customers of the shops
SAN BIAGIO. Dramatic moments, today Thursday 19 May, at the Tiziano di Olmi di San Biagio shopping center. A 49-year-old man living in the municipality tried to kill himself by throwing himself from the first floor, inside the building, among the people. After doing the shopping, just before noon he climbed over the balustrade and threw himself into the area of the large fountain that rises from the ground floor to the upper floor where numerous shops are located.
The thud drew the attention of customers strolling through the shop windows or sitting at the bar. Rescue was notified immediately.
An ambulance from Suem 118 rushed to the scene. The man was rescued and medicated on the spot, and then rushed to the emergency room of the Ca ‘Foncello hospital. He is in serious condition.
