The Ministry of Transportation formalized the increase in the value of tolls for the year 2023, increasing that it began to take effect on January 16 for all vehicular crossing points managed by the National Institute of Roads and the National Infrastructure Agency.
The cost includes the 13.12% increase corresponding to the 2022 CPI and the readjustment of $200 to complete the $500 contribution that Invías must make to the Road Safety Fund (Fosevi), in accordance with Resolution 20243040001125.
Currently, the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) has 119 tolls through its concessions, while Invías manages 29 toll booths. It is projected that in 2024 the 148 tolls could collect more than $172,814 million, resources that will strengthen the Fosevi road safety program.
