Australian model dies at 28

Australian model Sian Scale, recognized worldwide for her work with major fashion houses, has died at the age of 28, the Herald Sun reported on Friday.

According to the media, the young woman died this week at the Peter MacCallum hospital in the city of Melbourne and was accompanied by her family. The model was reportedly suffering from a rare and incurable form of cancer.

Scale’s dying wish was for people to donate blood. “If anyone wants to do something in memory of me, it is to donate blood: it is the gift of life,” the woman said before leaving.

«She was always willing to try something new and do things her way. “Her generous spirit and natural beauty quickly made her a role model in her country of origin,” her relatives said.

Sian collaborated with famous fashion houses, such as Burberry, Dior, Chanel and Marc Jacobs. “We deeply regret the death of our beautiful model Sian Scale,” the Chadwick Models agency with which she collaborated communicated on her social networks.

«Sian was a bright and unique light in our world who unapologetically marched to her own rhythm. We will all miss her more than she can express in words, and her incredible photographic work will immortalize her forever,” the publication reads. With RT
