12.-14. until July, the traditional American car festival American Beauty Car Show will take place in Haapsalu, the main performer of which this year is Wolfmother from Australia.
Wolfmother started in 2004, and since then lead guitarist and founding member Andrew Stockdale has been the symbol of the band. The composition of the band has changed over time, since last year the band includes bass guitarist James Wassenaar and drummer Christian Condon.
Wolfmother’s debut album was released in 2005 and went straight to number three on the Australian music charts, staying there for 78 weeks. After great success in their home country, the band released the album in the UK and USA as well. In the USA, the single „Woman†reached seventh place on the Billboard Mainsteam Rock chart. In addition, the single won a Grammy Award in the Best Hard Rock Performance category.
Wolfmother has released a total of six albums, the last album called „Rock Out†was released in 2021. The best-known songs of the band are “Woman”, “Joker And The Thief”, “Dimension” and “Vagabond”. Wolfmother has nearly 3 million listeners on Spotify.
Besides Wolfmother, the American Beauty Car Show will feature Kitty, Daisy & Lewis (UK), Boogie Company with Ivo Linna, Terminator, Cherry Casino & The Gamblers (DE), Cat Lee King & His Cocks (DE) and others. Tickets are available at the Ticket Center.
