Armed Forces and National Police continue to carry out operations to arrest members of terrorist gangs.
Las Ecuadorian Armed Forces (FF.AA.) shared the results of an operation carried out in Guayaquil. In a post on «X» (before Twitter), reported the arrest of six subjects, among whom are alias ‘Chelo’. They were all part of terrorist gangs.
The criminals were caught during the raid on a residence in the August 10 sector, in the Main Port. In the hands of those captured, a rifle, 182 ammunition of different calibers, four cell phones and seven blocks of marijuana were found.
For its part, the National Police reported that, in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilasa joint operation with the FF.AA.allowed the arrest of two citizens who were possible members of terrorist gangs.
In the hands of those now detained, the uniformed officers found three firearms, four power supplies, a ballistic vest and mobile terminals.
According to The Telegraphthe eight subjects were placed under the orders of the competent authorities for subsequent trial.
