Heading: Governor Zhao Gang Urges Farmers to Prepare for Spring Plowing to Ensure Good Harvest
On March 18, Governor Zhao Gang visited Fufeng County, Baoji City to inspect preparations for spring plowing. Emphasizing the importance of following General Secretary Xi Jinping’s directives on agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, Zhao urged farmers to not miss the farming season and to lay a solid foundation for a successful grain harvest throughout the year.
During his visit to Guanpo Village and Xiaozhai Village, Zhao observed the large-scale wheat planting and intensive management carried out by professional farmer cooperatives. He stressed the significance of proper spring plowing and management in ensuring stable agricultural production. Zhao highlighted the need for regions, especially major grain-producing areas, to implement appropriate field management measures based on factors such as moisture conditions and crop growth to achieve bumper summer grain harvests.
In addition to focusing on agricultural inputs and disaster prevention, Zhao also underscored the importance of high-standard farmland construction and technological innovation in agriculture.
