BIF&ST 15 – “La Casa di Ninetta” also in competition

Ninetta’s house, Lina Sastri’s first film directorial, was selected in the New Italian Cinema Competitive Section at the Bif&st – Bari International Film Festival 2024. Ninetta’s house is based on the book of the same name by Lina Sastri, already adapted into a theater show . From a screenplay by Sastri herself, the film is a true story of women, told by women. They all revolve around the figure of Ninetta. Ninetta is the mother of Lina, Lucia in the film, and this is the story that arose from a natural need, from an essential necessity. A difficult love story, as all loves are difficult. The story of a family and a woman, Ninetta, bright, unpredictable, courageous. The film is produced by Salina Srl, in co-production with Run Film and Rai Cinema, with the contribution of MIBAC and the Campania Region Film Commission.
