Given the rise of clandestine connections for cryptomining, an activity that consumes high levels of energy, ANDE plans actions in alliance with the Prosecutor’s Office and the Supreme Court of Justice.
Counting since 2019, more than 60 criminal complaints are in process and include accusations and seizures of equipment with more than 90 MegaWatts of irregular connections.

Only in one of the last interventions made in Guarambaré, 750 crypto-mining processing equipments consuming approximately 600,000 guaraníes a month were seized, without paying a single guaraní.
The persecution of cryptomining and the punishment of the perpetrators of the act will be the axes of the work that ANDE will do with the support of the Public Ministry and Justice.
For execution, they foresee an inter-institutional cooperation agreement between these three entities, so that the processes reach the last instance, which is the conviction of the guilty.
