The authorities dealt a strong blow to the criminal structures dedicated to drug trafficking in Nariño. During a major operation, 22 laboratories that had the capacity to produce up to 50 kilograms of coca paste per month were destroyed.

These results delivered by the National Navy are thanks to the operations carried out in territories such as El Charco, Francisco Pizarro, Iscuandé, La Tola, Mosquera, Olaya Herrera and Tumaco, which aim to affect the structures that disturb the tranquility of the communities.

In the development of military operations against the agents that generate violence, the authorities managed to locate and destroy the 22 coca laboratories in Nariño.

Units from the Marine Infantry Brigade No. 4, of the Colombian Navy, were in charge of carrying out the operation.
