A fatal accident occurred in the Municipality of Trinidad where a child was run over by a truck in circumstances that are the subject of investigation.
The minor was identified as Erick Leonardo Garrido, who died at the Orinoquia Regional Hospital, where he was treated after being transferred with serious injuries. Unfortunately, his condition was critical and as the hours passed, his health deteriorated, leading to his death.
Regarding the death of the little boy, the mayor of Trinidad Damaris Abril published on her Facebook account: “I do not have exact words to describe this sadness, my message of condolence to his mother and his entire family. I join this mourning that covers my town today and I raise a prayer of strength to her family.”
It will be the authorities who determine responsibilities in the case.
