Breda di Piave, crashes his Vespa into a pole: it’s very serious

Forty-year-old in intensive care after an accident that happened in Saletto just before 3pm. The carabinieri were on the spot

BREDA DI PIAVE. Serious road accident, in the early afternoon of today, in Saletto di Breda where a 40-year-old Italian man was injured after hitting a light pole on the side of the road. It was 2.45 pm and the man, who suffered a broken leg, was traveling on his Vespa when, due to reasons being examined by the carabinieri, he crashed into the pole.

An illness or distraction is assumed. A resident of the area sounded the alarm: «I was working in the fields and I didn’t notice anything. Passing motorists called me to tell me that there had been this accident. So I immediately called 118 ». The helicopter rescue crew was sent to the scene and transported the injured person, after intubating him and unconscious, to the Treviso hospital in high-severity code. The Carabinieri of Maserada intervened on the spot for the findings of the accident.
