Brescia, the accusations of sexual violence against Mario Balotelli have been dismissed

by admin

The investigating judge of Brescia has dismissed the accusations of sexual violence against Mario Balotelli, denounced by a girl for an alleged violence that would have happened in Nice. The player had in turn reported the girl for an attempted extortion to the Vicenza prosecutor’s office.

“Balotelli is very satisfied especially from a moral point of view, he considered it a slanderous and unacceptable accusation. Sorry for the young girl who proved to be an instrument in the hands of unscrupulous adults” commented her lawyers, Francesca Coppi and Alessandro Moscatelli.

It was the Brescia Public Prosecutor’s Office who had asked for the charges against Balotelli to be dismissed, but the girl had opposed the outcome of the hearing. Last April, the investigating judge Riccardo Moreschi dismissed the accusations from a girl from Vicenza, 16 at the time of the facts, who said she was raped in 2017 by the footballer, who at the time was wearing the Nice shirt.

The investigating judge, in filing, notes “the groundlessness of the crime report”, cites the testimonies of people in those days in Nice (Boateng and Desmond) and the phone calls between Balotelli and the girl from which a “plot” hatched by the woman and another person to take advantage of the affair.
