The amount of the work is 2 million and 900 euros and will be carried out by the awarded company Maroso SpA of Marostica, based on a project by the Ati Projects studio of Pisa.

GIANT. Bulldozers in action in the primary school of Riese: the part dating back to the 70s was demolished yesterday, as part of the construction site for the seismic adaptation and expansion of the plexus. According to Mayor Matteo Guidolin, this is the most important action of the two mandates of the administration he leads.

Especially as regards the estimated amounts: 3 million and 800 thousand euros the total cost of the work, financed for two and a half million by ministerial contributions and for the remainder by funds from the municipality.

The amount of the works is 2 million and 900 euros and will be carried out by the awarded company Maroso SpA of Marostica, based on a project by the Ati Projects studio of Pisa.

The expected duration of the construction site is 651 days, with a deadline set for April 2023. «We have been working on this project since 2015», explains Mayor Guidolin, «accessing two ministerial funding. The demolition of the “new” wing will allow the construction of a two-storey building that will allow for eighteen classrooms plus the canteen, which will allow 500 pupils to be accommodated. It is a very important investment in the future of our community ».

During the next two school years, you will have to contemplate, obtorto neck, the coexistence of construction sites and school activities: «Obviously we have also thought of this», Guidolin continues, «we will be able to host the teaching activity in the oldest part, dating back to the 1930s. What we hope is that there will be no hitches in the works and therefore to respect the established delivery date ». The issue of schools is particularly hot in Riese: the actions that led to obtaining the substantial ministerial funding, led to the deduction that there is a “disengagement” of the administration towards the complexes of the hamlets: “This is not the case and I repeat it again”, concludes the mayor, «the works on the Spineda and Vallà complexes testify to this. And to follow there will be other safety measures ».D. N.
