The Department of Public Function, through a press note, announced that the written tests of the extraordinary competitions for the hiring of 31 full-time and permanent staff units by the Municipality of Caivano have been concluded, the organization of which is entrusted to Formez . At the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples, they introduced themselves 1,384 candidates, 64% of the 2,146 applications received. There are 441 eligible people, 70% of whom are under 40 years old. It is also specified that, by February, the administration will be able to make use of the new resources, in implementation of the plan desired by the Minister for Public Administration, Paolo Zangrillo, and prepared by the Department of Public Function to make up for the fragilities, including structural, of the community of Caivano.

“The large participation in the selection confirms the attractiveness of the public sector. I am satisfied because, despite the awareness of the critical issues present in this area, the response was truly significant – underlines the Minister Zangrillo. The two competitions, which are taking place in times never seen before, will implement the organic plan of the Municipality with the most functional profiles for relaunching administrative efficiency”.

Participation was particularly high for i 6 social worker positions: out of 376 applications, there were 282 participants, or 75% of the candidates, 38% of whom were under thirty years old.

Meanwhile, the work continues task force of the Department of Public Function which, in agreement with the Extraordinary Commission and the Government Commissioner, has been supporting the Municipality staff since last autumn. “I will return to Caivano soon to personally see the progress of the activities carried out to support this community – announces the Minister Zangrillo – the objective is to help this territory to restart, restoring its citizens’ trust in the State through services that are in step with the times”.
