“A storm” threatens to hit the vineyards of Calusiese and the upper Canavese: it is not wind and hail, but popillia japonica, the polyphagous beetle that prefers grape leaves and hazelnuts. It has a gregarious behavior therefore, attacking a vineyard, or an orchard in a few days it is able to skeletonize the plants leaving behind significant damage.
