The pack of wolves that rend the remains of the poor deer
The close encounter this morning, December 29, in Ai Pich. The wolves were not bothered by the presence of the forest worker, who immortalized the scene
VITTORIO VENETO. Traces of wolves can be found in the snow quite easily in Cansiglio. It also happens that the camera traps of associations of enthusiasts and experts are able to film them while they are moving in the woods. Rarer, and certainly more exciting, are close encounters, such as what happened this morning to a forest worker from the Vittoriese.

In the Ai Pich area, the worker witnessed the scene of a deer being torn to pieces by a pack of wolves and, a few tens of meters away, he photographed what was happening, maintaining the necessary calm.

After the meal, the pack dispersed, and a few wolves passed a few meters from the lumberjack, who took the opportunity to take some more pictures, before moving away in turn.
