Cao Dahua, 47, has served as the office director of Guangdong Overseas Construction Corporation since September 2000; director and deputy general manager of Guangdong Xinguang International Group (Macau) Co., Ltd.; Guangdong Xinguang International Group (Hong Kong and Macau) Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. General Manager; Director and General Manager of Nanfang Construction Real Estate Co., Ltd.; Party Secretary and Chairman of Guangdong Nanyue Group Co., Ltd.; Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, Full-time Director of Guangdong Free Trade Office; Deputy Director of Guangdong Development and Reform Commission, Executive Officer of the Provincial Greater Bay Area Office Deputy Director; In December 2020, he was transferred to the Deputy Secretary-General of the Guangdong Provincial Government (at the department level).
Lu Media reported that Cao Dahua was proposed to be nominated as a prefectural city mayor candidate twice: In June 2016, Cao Dahua, chairman and party secretary of Guangdong Nanyue Group Co., Ltd., proposed to be nominated as a candidate for mayor of Yangjiang City; August this year On the 9th, Cao Dahua proposed to be deputy secretary of the municipal party committee of a prefecture-level city and nominated as a candidate for mayor.
Cao Dahua’s resume shows that he has been in charge of Guangdong’s state-owned enterprises in Hong Kong and Macau for many years, and has served as the deputy secretary-general of the Guangdong Provincial Government for less than a year.
