Troops of the Colombian Navy and the National Army, attached to the Joint Task Force Titan, located and destroyed seven laboratories used for the processing of coca base paste, belonging to the Clan del Golfo.
The operations carried out on the Atrato River, in the general area of the municipality of Carmen del Darién, Chocó, allowed the location of seven rudimentary structures in which coca base paste production areas operated. AND
Inside, 186 gallons of coca base paste in process, 30 kilograms of coca leaf, 1,628 gallons of liquid inputs, 170 kilograms of solid inputs and 7 artisanal mixers were found.
The laboratories and supplies found were destroyed in a controlled manner.
