Strikers and non-strikers agree on one point: «A company run by a board of directors appointed by politics cannot run the casino as a” boss “, but as a father of a family. The company must listen to us ». The trade unionists are waiting to be summoned by the mayor Alberto Biancheri, the council and the council group leaders. “We also intend to hear other economic categories of the city, to assess the impact on their work,” they add. They criticize the Board of Directors “in no uncertain terms, the non-respect of correct trade union relations, manifested through the closure of dialogue and the right to information, despite the constant requests for an immediate table of discussion”.
They conclude from the secretariats: “All this is experienced as an absolute lack of respect towards all the workers of the gambling house”. –
