Catania: customers in the pub at 11pm, new closure for “Area 51”

CATANIA – As part of the services carried out to ensure compliance with government provisions for epidemic containment, the soldiers of the Catania Piazza Dante Station at about 11 pm, together with personnel from the Municipal Police, carried out a check in the pub “Area 51” in via Coppola.

Upon arrival of the military, the patrons who were present inside the commercial establishment immediately fled to the neighboring streets, generating a turmoil following which three of them were blocked and sanctioned for failure to comply with anti COVID-19.

For the owner of the pub, on the other hand, a further temporary closure of 5 days of the activity was arranged after the four already suffered for similar violations, the last of which for a duration of 15 days.
