TOLMEZZO. The judge for preliminary investigations of the court of Udine, Carlotta Silva, validated – on Tuesday 7 June – the arrest of the assistant chief coordinator of the Penitentiary Police Gianpiero Plozner, 54, accused of corruption, undue access to devices suitable for communication from part of subjects detained and of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
However, Plozner was released from prison: accepting the request of the prosecutor Andrea Gondolo, owner of the investigation file, the investigating judge ordered house arrest for the prison guard, who according to the accusation would have sent some prisoners from the general prison safety of Tolmezzo mobile phones and modest quantities of hashish.
