The little ones are part of the Comfacauca Comfacauca Comprehensive Early Childhood Care (AIPI) and Complementary School Day (JEC) programs.
With the purpose of strengthening the training processes of boys, girls and young people belonging to the AIPI (Comprehensive Early Childhood Care) and JEC (Complementary School Day) programs of Comfacauca, the Compensation Fund carried out the delivery of more of 2,000 educational kits in the central and Pacific areas of the department of Cauca. The material is designed to enhance not only cognitive aspects, but also training aspects.
In Popayán, at the Comprehensive Family Care Center (CAIF), 306 kits were delivered, consisting of school supplies, which the children will use for their educational process and the development of creative activities, including drawing.
On the Pacific Coast, where Comfacauca has a large presence, children and young people received their respective kits. In the municipality of Guapi, 1,300 educational packages were delivered; in López de Micay, 315 and in Timbiquí 200.
The activity of delivering the educational materials was complemented with various recreational activities, such as face painting, sports dances and the impersonation of the teachers, providing the children with an afternoon of fun and joy, which they enjoyed to the fullest.
“This delivery reflects Comfacauca’s commitment to the comprehensive development of children and youth, by promoting quality education and providing tools that strengthen pedagogical processes, motivating the permanence and interest of minors in learning,” stated its directors.
