Chivasso, 11 intoxicated with chestnuts in the family

All transported to the hospital, the carabinieri are investigating

Eleven people, including two children, were poisoned by carbon monoxide fumes this Saturday afternoon in a house in Castelrosso, a hamlet of Chivasso. It is a group of friends who had organized a party to spend the afternoon together. The fumes would have come from a brazier lit inside the house, perhaps to prepare chestnuts. The medical staff transferred all the people to the hospital for examination. Nobody is in serious condition. Surveys are underway by the carabinieri of the Chivasso company.
